About the programme

Our Summer School is an exciting 2-week programme that will help you to develop the creative skills and knowledge you need to study Art, Media and Design at higher education level.
為期兩周密集的藝術(shù)夏令營(yíng)課程，為學(xué)生今后學(xué)習(xí)藝術(shù)，媒體，設(shè)計(jì)等課程打下堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。
The course will run from Monday 15 - Friday 26 July 2019, 09:30 – 16:30. You’ll be taught by specialist instructors, working both individually and in small groups to design and create work using your new skills. To celebrate the end of the summer school, we’ll hold an exhibition of the work you’ve produced followed by a presentation of your certificates of attendance.
開課時(shí)間: 2019年7月15日（星期一）— 26日（星期五），每天09:30 – 16:30。由專業(yè)課老師授課，分為個(gè)人獨(dú)立作業(yè)和小組作業(yè)兩種學(xué)習(xí)模式，要求學(xué)生結(jié)合新的技能進(jìn)行設(shè)計(jì)。最后，為學(xué)生組織個(gè)人作品展并頒發(fā)結(jié)營(yíng)證書。
The course will take place in our new design studios building, part of City Campus Development, which has recently benefitted from ?20m of investment in state-of-the-art facilities at Bower Ashton Campus. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Ashton Court Estate, City Campus is just 15 minutes from the cultural heart of the city. Bristol was voted the ‘best city to live in’ in the Sunday Times Best Places to Live Guide, 2017 and granted UNESCO City of Film status in February 2018.

And there will be plenty to keep you busy outside of the course too. We’re arranging an exciting events programme including social evenings and weekend excursions, so you’ll get to make the most of your time with us.

The Summer School is for you if you’re looking to improve your portfolio and creative practice and if you’re considering studying Art, Media or Design at higher education level.

What are the Summer School entry requirements?
入學(xué)條件
· There are no formal qualification requirements. 沒有特殊的學(xué)歷要求
· You’ll need an interest in art, media and design as well as the enthusiasm to explore, take risks and learn. 要求申請(qǐng)者熱愛藝術(shù)，媒體和設(shè)計(jì)，同時(shí)積極好學(xué)，善于學(xué)習(xí)新鮮事物。
· You need to be at least 16 years old at the start of the course. 開課前至少滿足16周歲。
· Lessons are taught in English so you’ll need an intermediate level of English. If you need any advice on your level of English, please email globalstudents@uwe.ac.uk

Accommodation
課程期間的住宿
As a Summer School student, you’ll stay in high-quality accommodation in our Student Village on Frenchay Campus. You’ll have your own en-suite bedroom in a flat for 6 with a shared kitchen and lounge area. The Student Village is within easy walking distance of the library, computer rooms, the Centre for Sport and all the social spaces.
我們?yōu)閰⒓铀囆g(shù)夏令營(yíng)的學(xué)生，預(yù)留了主校區(qū)最好的校內(nèi)學(xué)生公寓student villiage 學(xué)生村。每6名同學(xué)被分配到一個(gè)公寓，每個(gè)同學(xué)享有獨(dú)立臥室，獨(dú)立衛(wèi)浴，共用廚房。學(xué)生村到圖書館，健身房，計(jì)算機(jī)房等只需步行的距離即可到達(dá)。
Your accommodation is included in the Summer School fees and this covers:

Summer School Fees

The fees includes:
· 40 hours of tuition including teaching materials 40課時(shí)的學(xué)費(fèi)以及教材

· All meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner 每日三餐

· UWE Bristol certificate of attendance. 結(jié)課證書
Please note that the following are not included in the course fees: 不包含下列費(fèi)用：
· Travel to and from the UK 往返英國(guó)機(jī)票
· UK entry visas (if required) 進(jìn)入英國(guó)的簽證

Airport transfers 關(guān)于接機(jī)
We’re offering free airport transfers from London Heathrow on Sunday 14 July at 11:00, 15:00 and 19:00, so we recommend that you book your flights so that you can take advantage of this. If you can’t make these times or you’re arriving at another airport, you can book your airport transfer independently. Please contact us if you would like any help booking this.
